Bio
-I am a Spanish philologist, freelance writer and translator. I have devoted most of my professional life to write about alternative therapies, hand and face analysis, nutrition, popular science, and psychical experiences.
-I have been editor in chief and foreign coordinating editor for Enigmas magazine (Editorial América Ibérica, Madrid). I have contributed many articles in international publications such as the Almanac of the Uncanny (Reader’s Digest Australia, 1995), as well as different Spanish magazines.
-I founded and presided over the Asociación Quirológica Española (1994-2002). My first book on the hand –Así hablan las manos (Editorial Plaza & Janés, Barcelona, 1989) – deals with cheirology, cheiromancy and dermatoglyphics. It was reprinted twice in hard cover, and three times in paperback.
-My book El lenguaje de las manos (Editorial Océano Ámbar, Barcelona, 2008) deals with the relationship between hand and brain, religious symbols, mudras, healing, gestures and language of the hands. My book El rostro: alma del cuerpo (Editorial Martínez Roca, Barcelona, 2003) deals with the subject of face analysis according to the French morphopsychological method.
-I have participated in lots of radio and television programs, and have analyzed famous characters’ faces for Spanish television (Crónicas marcianas), and for Dos Mundos Channel (Despierta América) broadcasted in the United States. I live in Madrid (Spain).
